How to improve tactics and strategy at chess online, and what site could i learn strategy and tactics at chess?

Please, tell the truth and what is the sercrets of the grandmasters and i want to be a world champion at chess im 10 years old.|||I agree. Chesstempo.com is a very good site to improve your strategy and tactics. Chess.com has even more features that you can play chess online and against other people. You can get silver/gold mempbership on chesstempo and gold, platinum, or diamond on chess.com. I reccomend diamond though I got gold.|||I always recommend joining a chess club in your local area if it's at all possible. It is very inexpensive and even less for students. It shouldn't even be two dollars per month. There you will meet other players, some of whom will be very high rated and can help you. You have them analyze your games and study them so you can learn from your mistakes.

Doing it on your own is more difficult, but it's not impossible. The best place to get online tactics practice is at: http://chesstempo.com/ and click on the "Tactics" link. Practice by solving at least 20 to 30 of the puzzles everyday. If you are not getting too many correct at first, don't worry about it. It will start to lower the level of difficulty until you are solving the majority. You will then start to move up in difficulty as you get better. To get strategy tips, you can go to: http://www.chess.com/. There you will find information on chess openings and the latest theory. You can even watch some videos from the top players that will teach you more strategy and give you tips to improve your game.

My last suggestion is to build a solid foundation. You want to study endgame strategy, middle game tactics, and opening theory. For study purposes, the game tends to be broken down in these three areas, but they are all intertwined. You want to start thinking about how the pawn structure in the endgame will look from the very beginning of the game. Learn your basics of opening theory and understand how it will affect the middle game and ultimately the endgame. An excellent book to give you what you need is called "The Complete Book of Chess Strategy" by Jeremy Silman. He's an International Master, world class teacher, writer and player. He's won the American Open, National Open and the U.S. Open. Also, for several years he was the coach of the United States delegation to the World Junior Championship, taking his team all over the world. He presents the material in four parts: The Opening, The Middlegame, The Endgame, and Practical Matters. All of the information in the sections are in alphabetical order to you can access anything in particular immediately. I suggest you go through the entire book once and then go back and study the areas that you want to focus on or had trouble with.

Good luck on your goal. Just remember it takes time to absorb so much information. It will take a lot of study on your part, but the rewards of your time spent doing the work will be well worth it.
