How can I get better at chess quick?

I know practice make perfect but I have play chess all times and I improve a little bit. Anyone know the tip to get better faster?|||I have told these many times(and chess master also told these), that playing a lot of chess is not enough to improve. If you want to improve you should study chess tactics, strategy and endgames. Developing player's common reason for defeats are blunders(losing a piece without compensation). Developing player blunders because they have poor tactical skills. So to improve at chess tactics solve lots of chess problems.

Developing players often times does not know what to do in chess. The reason for this is they have poor positional pattern ideas. Sample of positional ideas are bad bishop and weak square. So to improve in these aspect, players should study positional play.

What is a chess endgame? Chess endgame is a situation in which there already few pieces left, and your king is already safe to go out and join the action. Developing players also does not now how to handle endgame positions. For example they don't know when a lone pawn and and king against a king is draw or a win. So again to improve in endgame a developing player should study endgame. Basically chess is divided into 3 parts, they are opening, middle game and endgame.

I suggest you buy a chess book try Play Winning Chess by Seirawan and Chess Tactics for Champion by Polgar. Many love these books.

Some chess tips.

1. Study your opponent's last move.

2. Look at the whole board.

3. Unless you have a good reason not to do so castle.

4. Put Your Rooks on open file.

5.Put Your Bishop on open diagonal.

6. If You are ahead in material exchange pieces (so the winning process for you gets more easier, with less pieces, the position is less complicated and your opponent chance for swindling got lesser).

7. Don't defeats frustrate you, learn from them, even the best of them lost many times.
