What is the best chess teaching software?

I'm looking for a piece of chess software that will teach me to play better chess.

I've been using ChessMaster for several years. It is a good tool for position analysis

and game analysis. However, I wonder if there is something better available.

I can put in a position, and have it analyzed, and it will tell me what the best move

should be, and give a few following moves, but I'd like something with a bit more

detail as to why the given move was best.

Can anyone suggest a better piece of software for learning chess?

Thanks in advance.|||What I would suggest is not a software that you can still, but a good website where you can solve many chess tactics, the site is chesstempo.com, try it, you will not regret it.|||The software you need is probable in your home! ChessMaster Grandmaster contains a wonderful section by Josh Waitzkin in the acadamy. That'll be your best bet. It is a very good teacher, and doesn't teach you openings or stuff like that, but the heart of chess, intuitive chess.|||The human brain. Seriously get a real live breathing person who knows how to play properly to give you some lessons.|||If you don't want to pay for lessons from a human Fide Master IM or GM get chess mentor.|||I have had many chess programs and I personally think that Chessmaster is the best.

Hope this helped!
